Therapeutic hot / cold pack
Actimove Physiopack is a re-usable gel pack for the treatment of sprains, strains, inflammation or stiff muscles. It can be used for both external cryotherapy and thermotherapy.
When used for cooling, Actimove Physiopack remains pliable during use, yet will keep its applied shape for even distribution of the cooling gel.
Application fields include:
Cold Therapy:
- Acute soft tissue injuries
- Local inflammation (e.g. tendinitis, bursitis)
- Chronic diseases (e.g. osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis)
- Muscle spasms
- Rehabilitation after soft tissue injuries
Hot Therapy:
- Muscular pain
- Subacute inflammation (including arthritis)
- Soft tissue stiffness
Contraindications – Do not apply Actimove Physiopack with:
Cold Therapy
- Impaired circulation, Raynaud’s disease, Cryoglobulinemia, Paroxysmal cold haemoglobinuria, cold urticaria
Hot Therapy
- Impaired circulation, Neoplasm, sensory problems, acute trauma, Bleeding, acute inflammation, acute oedema
- Supports effective treatment, as it retains cold or heat for the recommended treatment time of 20 - 30 minutes
- Easy to cool in a freezer or fridge to allow for immediate cold treatment
- Quick to heat up in a microwave or in hot, but not boiling water, for effective hot therapy
- Hot / Cold pack can be wiped clean with water or sanitiser
- Suitable for use in medical settings, as well as in the home
- Fleece pocket included
- Protect the skin by placing a cloth, towel or wrap between the product and skin
- Do not exceed cooling and warming of 20 – 30 minutes
- Supervise the use with children
- Gel should not be ingested. In case of accidental swallowing, consult a healthcare professional
